ABOUT HMA
Different experience. Shared purpose.
HMA brings together complementary experience across business strategy, leadership, operations, communications and market-facing execution.
Harry and Abir have worked together for many years, often with businesses operating in complex or specialised sectors. That experience has reinforced a simple idea: identifying the right direction is only useful if the business can act on it.
Harry brings commercial, operational and leadership experience. Abir brings positioning, communications, digital and implementation capability.
Together, HMA helps businesses identify what is really holding them back, define what needs to change, and — where appropriate — help make that change real.

THE TEAM
Why the combination matters
Some problems need strategic direction. Others need practical execution. Many need both.
HMA is designed to bridge that gap where it makes sense — while remaining clear about when outside specialist expertise is the better answer.
Harry Mostert

Harry has more than 30 years’ experience across sales, marketing, manufacturing, operations and general management, with senior roles spanning mining, construction and infrastructure in Australia and international markets.
His work has included business development, go-to-market strategy, contract negotiation, operational improvement, executive leadership and transformation.

Abir Tarafdar
Positioning, communication, and implementation
Abir has more than 30 years’ experience across digital, brand, media and business communications, with a background spanning film, creative direction, websites, investor materials, corporate communications and digital campaigns.
Much of his work has involved complex or specialised businesses where the challenge is not simply what to say, but how to make the value of the business clear to customers, investors and other stakeholders.
Within HMA, his role often focuses on turning strategic intent into something tangible — positioning, messaging, websites, presentations, content, digital systems and customer-acquisition activity.
